Avoid or Reduce Dietary Detoxification Blockers -  A doctor using BDRM can tell you what you may have, what you must reduce, and what it best to eliminate. Avoid excessive use of

bulletCaffeine - Note that decaf is often more toxic than caffeine containing coffee and teas.
bulletAlcohol - especially if liver is toxic
bulletSodas - especially artificially sweetened
bulletDrugs - most drugs are toxic and may inhibit the detoxification function of the liver or kidneys
bulletSugar - artificial sweeteners are worse than white sugar!
bulletSalt - See healthy salt below
bulletFats - especially trans fats and rancid fats, including rancid nuts.
bulletFast foods
bulletProcessed foods that contain additives, preservatives, texturizers, other toxic chemicals, food coloring, MSG

Optimal Diet - promotes optimal health and provides the nutrients that play vital roles in the detoxification process. The optimal diet varies from one individual to another. Your BDRM practitioner will determine your optimal diet. Key components to the BDRM detoxification-renewal diet include:

bulletWater - Optimal water intake helps flush toxins from the body. Water intake must be balanced with a healthy salt to prevent 'water intoxication,' or hyponatremia (low sodium). Consuming large amounts of water over dilutes the salt content of the blood. When a person consumes too much water, essential electrolytes in the blood stream become diluted and affect control of the heartbeat. Over time, the loss interferes with brain, heart and muscle function.
bulletHealthy salts BDRM recommends the use of Real Salt brand salt. It is a mined salt from a from a dried sea bed in Utah. From an ancient sea, is free of the toxins found in today's seas. The difference between conventional and real salt is that conventional salt is dried at extremely high temperatures, which  changes the chemical structure of the salt. Conventional processing adds harmful additives and chemicals. When people use Real Salt, most can use it far more liberally, without the adverse health consequences of conventional salt.  It contains about 83 trace minerals. Scientific Studies
bulletOptimal protein to carbohydrate ratio - A diet with the optimal ration of protein to carbohydrates does for the body what the right fuel octane does for a car. Some body's require a high protein - low carbohydrate diet, others a low protein - high carbohydrate, and still other a diet between these two extremes. BDRM can help determine this ratio and the types of protein and carbohydrates that are best for your body.
bulletFruits and vegetables - While BDRM adjustments activate the body's detoxification and renewal mechanisms, fruits and vegetables contain the nutrients that are used in the detoxification and renewal processes. Minimal recommended intake is 5 servings and the ideal is 9.
bulletFiber - Aids detoxification in the gastrointestinal system.
bulletHealthy fats / oils - Many of the most toxic substances are fat soluble and have an affinity for the white matter (fatty components) of nerve and brain cells. Through reducing the toxic burden, eliminating bad fats, and consuming healthy fats and oils the body is able to replace toxic fats stored in the body with healthy fats.
