About BDRM BDRM - Bamberger Detoxification and Renewal Methods

|
The importance of detoxification - Recognizing the threat that toxicity poses to health, Dr. Lynn Bamberger studied many detoxification methods including classical homeopathy, homeopathic drainage, diet and exercise programs, herbal and nutritional detoxification methods, colon cleansing, fasting, detoxification baths, chelation therapies, and more. While she found that each of these methods have value in addressing the immediate problem of toxicity. Most approach detoxification in a way that is similar to the way that weight loss programs address obesity, with the end result often being that the weight which is lost is soon regained - PLUS SOME. She found that the same thing was happening with toxicity in many of the detoxification methods that she studied. She realized that to be effective a detoxification program must focus on prevention and maintenance, which is what BDRM does. True healing is NOT about removing symptoms - such as toxicity, obesity, viral and bacterial infections, headaches, cancers and the like. True healing is a process of assisting one's body and one's life to work better, even in the most adverse of situations, circumstances, and environments. In order to maintain optimal health, the body needs to be able to continually free itself of toxins AND to maintain that detoxified state on a micro-second to micro-second basis. Effective detoxification depends on an optimally functioning nervous system - which is the body's master coordination and control system. When something, such as pressure on a nerve (a condition called a subluxation) interferes with the full and optimal functioning of the nervous system, it causes the body to enter into a state of less than optimal functioning, which is associated with most forms of dis-ease known to man. Subluxation care forms the cornerstone of BDRM because a subluxated person can not effectively detoxify. When subluxations are removed, the body's innate ability to detoxify itself from within is enhanced. It is on this foundation of subluxation care that all other aspects of BDRM rest. The Autonomic Nervous System (the ANS) plays a crucial role in detoxification - If the sympathetic and parasympathetic branches of the autonomic nervous system are not activated and balanced, the body's innate detoxification mechanisms are compromised. This often occurs BDRM helps the body to resolve this stress and activates and balances the autonomic nervous system. Diet plays a crucial role in the cycle of detoxification and renewal - This is especially true if an individual is to thrive in a toxic world. What Dr. Bamberger has found is that lifestyle needs vary greatly from one person to another. BDRM identifies the individual needs of each person and incorporates those into her wellness plan for each patient. The Body's Innate Detoxification Priorities - Possibly the most important aspect of BDRM is its recognition of the of the body's innate detoxification priorities and the importance of working in accordance with those priorities. BDRM helps patients not just to survive, but to THRIVE, in the real world - which unfortunately is highly toxic. BDRM works in accordance with the body's innate detoxification priorities.
There are 8 Levels in the BDRM Detoxification and Renewal Process - BDRM addresses each of these levels in accordance with the body's natural detoxification priorities.
