The world that we are turning over to our children, and our children's children presents dangers that many of us did not have to face during our formative years.

Inherited Toxicity

bulletGenetic predisposition allows some individuals to handle toxins less effectively than others. Damage to DNA can cause organs, glands, and body systems to function at less than optimal levels, which compromises the body's ability to detoxify itself and renew itself.
bulletMaternal toxicity is passed on to the child through the placenta. Fetal Metal Syndrome (FMS) is a situation where metal toxicity is passed on to the fetus by a mother who has amalgam fillings in her teeth, or received vaccinations that contain mercury.
bulletMiasms are a prolonged disturbance following an acute infection or toxic exposure which weakens the body. They may be caused by medicines that suppress illnesses rather than cure them. These unresolved disturbances become encapsulated which allows them to escape the body's natural defense mechanisms. Unresolved they may be passed on from generation to generation.

Endogenous Toxins - Toxins produced by the body

bulletMetabolic wastes - include uric acid, lactic acid, metabolic byproducts, etc.
bulletDigestive waste - include toxins that result from incomplete digestion, poor digestion, poor food combining, and dysbiosis (a disturbance to the healthy flora in the digestive tract).
bulletFree radicals -

Environmental Toxins

bulletNatural - include radon, heavy metals, plants and their pollens some of which produce highly toxic substances. Consider this list when you buy a product labeled "all natural"
bulletMicrobial -  include bacteria, yeast, mold, fungus, viruses, and parasites. The organisms themselves may be toxic, their waste products may be toxic, and their waste products may be toxic.
bulletMan-made toxic chemicals - include building materials, household cleaning supplies, cosmetics and personal hygiene products, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, preservatives,  food additives, smog, etc.
bulletEnergetic toxins- can effect the body's chemistry and disrupt its energy fields. They include solar disturbances (solar flares), electromagnetic frequencies (such as high voltage wires, computers and computer monitors - flat screen LCD are best - televisions, microwave ovens, florescent lights, electric wiring and outlets, etc),  color frequencies, sound frequencies, and Radiation (x-rays, nuclear, ultraviolet, etc).

Emotional Toxins - Physical toxins become entrapped in the body by emotional toxins, or that  mentally toxic states are often behind most emotionally toxic states.

When an individual experiences a traumatic or stressful event he (or she) will often respond with fear, anger, resentment, grief, sorrow, etc. Rather than accepting these normal and natural emotions, he (she) may suppress or repress them. Until  he (or she) surfaces and resolves these negative emotional states and shifts to the positive state of unconditional loving, the negative emotional energy remains embedded in the energy fields of the body. This negative energy blocks the free flow of energy through the body's acupuncture meridian system and the hinders the transmission of mental impulses (the body's nerve energy) through the nervous system. The coordination and control mechanisms of the body become less effective. Anger tends to localize in the liver; fear in the kidneys; sorrow in the lungs. As these organs are organs of detoxification, these unresolved emotions, and the energetic blockage they create, reduce the functioning of these organs and with it the ability of the body to detoxify itself. Eventually disease sets in. In order for the body to detoxify itself of physical toxins, it must first detoxify itself of emotional toxins. If this emotional detoxification is not done, the mechanisms of physical detoxification will not function optimally and the body will be unable to detoxify itself. In the case of mercury toxicity we have found that the body does not detoxify itself of mercury unless it has first detoxified itself emotionally.

Mental Toxins- includes mental states such as negative beliefs, negative focus, fault finding, negative self-talk, autosuggestions, criticism, against-ness, condemnation, and judgments. Behind most emotional toxicity is a mentally toxic state.

Toxic Disharmonies - The more an organism reacts to its environment, the more energy it takes from itself. The body gradually loses its ability to process, digest, and utilize nourishment, so ingested food rots, putrefies, and confuses the system. It also becomes increasingly unable to effectively respond and adapt to life.
